The purpose of the competition is to select and award the local government units that most effectively carry out tasks related to the promotion of pro-health behaviour, health education and prevention of selected diseases and risk factors.
Participants in the competition may be units of local government at the commune, district and voivodeship levels. The application period lasted until January 13.
The rules of the competition are set out in the regulations.
As in previous years, prizes - Healthy Local Government statuettes - will be awarded in three categories:
- Healthy Municipality
- Healthy County
- Healthy Region
The winners will be selected by the competition's Consultative Council, and one of the projects will be awarded a prize by the readers of the Health Market and the Local Government Portal.
The winners in each category will be announced on 14 March 2025 during the 10th Health Challenges Congress.
